More than just a house...

Diane and her 8-year-old daughter decorate their Christmas tree inside their new home in the Waterview Homes subdivision in Ouray. After living in five different homes over the last five years, Diane, who works two jobs at the Ouray Brewery and Ridgeway Elementary School, was able to purchase a home thanks to nonprofit developer Rural Homes and project partners offering for-sale units and interest rates well below market value. "Finally, for a reasonable price, I get to own a slice of heaven," Diane said.
